Private Offsite Handbuilding Workshop for 25

$4,248.00

When: Saturday December 20th, 12-4pm

What to Expect

This four-hour, hands-on workshop is designed for your foundation’s gathering — a chance for your guests to slow down, connect, and enjoy a thoughtful, creative experience together.

We’ll begin with a brief introduction and a demonstration of foundational hand-building techniques, including pinching and coiling. From there, everyone will have plenty of time to create at their own pace.

Guests will be able to make pieces such as:

  • Cups, bowls, plates, or small vases

  • Ornaments or pendants

  • Simple sculptural forms

  • Clay impressions using natural materials

I will also guide optional partner or team-building exercises that are accessible for all experience levels. Each activity is designed to be gentle, engaging, and adaptable to your group’s needs.

All materials are included. After the workshop, I will glaze and fire everyone’s pieces. The work will be ready for pickup (or shipping, if needed) by the end of the following month. All materials will be provided.

What to Wear

Please encourage guests to wear casual, comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes that can get a little messy. Participants are welcome to bring their own apron if they’d like one. (All clay washes out of clothing easily.)
