Clay & Sound at domecíl Sunday October 12th 9:30am - 11:30am

$95.00

Sunday October 12th, 9:30 - 11:30am

Join ceramic artist Marie Bose of Pyre Studio and sound practitioner Danielle Elese of Foxy Sage for a calming, creative morning at the domecíl Studio. This two-hour workshop weaves together sound meditation and hands-on clay work, inviting you to slow down and connect with material, rhythm, and presence.

Opening Sound Meditation

We’ll begin seated in a circle, clay in hand. Danielle will guide a sound bath using crystal and Himalayan singing bowls. With eyes closed, the sound will settle through your body as you begin to feel the clay in your hands, shifting your attention inward.

Clay Exploration

Remaining in stillness, you’ll continue to explore the clay with your hands. With no need to plan or perfect, allow forms to emerge through slow, responsive movement.

Focused Making

As the sound fades, you’ll open your eyes and begin a more intentional sculpting process. Marie will introduce foundational handbuilding techniques including pinching, coiling, attachments, and surface decoration, as you complete your own clay vessel.

Please bring: A yoga mat, blanket, or cushion for comfortable seated meditation.

All materials provided. No prior experience is needed. Finished pieces will be glazed and fired at Pyre Studio and available for pickup 2–3 weeks after the event.

Location: 1223 State St at the domecíl Studio
