Introduction to Throwing on the Wheel Tuesdays 5pm - 7pm

When: Tuesdays 5 - 7pm

Dates: August 19th, 26th, September 9th, 16th, plus open glazing the week of September 22nd

Who it's for: Beginners and anyone looking to refresh and improve on their throwing skills. This is an intimate class size with very focused and personalized instruction.

What you'll learn:

  • How to wedge clay

  • Centering

  • Pulling and shaping clay

  • Trimming and glazing your pieces

  • Creating forms like cylinders (cups, mugs, vases), bowls, and plates

  • One on one time with the instructor for extra guidance dedicated to your skill level and hopes for the class


Included: Clay, tools, and firing are all provided as part of the class.

What to wear: Casual, loose-fitting clothes and closed-toe shoes that can get dirty.
